Dear readers, sorry for not updating for the past few days as I was busy packing a few winter clothing for my upcoming trip and then there was Christmas, which was, as you can see, the center of today’s post.
On Christmas eve, we headed down to Bangsar to grab and do some last minute grocery shopping to top up some things that we could not get from the wet market. The next morning, I helped my parents in preparing for the Christmas party at night for our guests. So in the process of washing, cutting, chopping and so on, I took the photos of some ingredients which were used.
The main dish was no doubt the turkey, and then we had Spanish seafood paella, risotto cooked with chestnuts, a simple salad with Balsamic vinegar dressing and also some potato salad. This party served two purposes – it was also to sort of to celebrate my sister’s birthday which will be on January 3rd next year, but it was more to celebrating the Christmas spirit of course. For dessert we had butterscotch pecan cake from Secret Recipe because Jess just got back from Osaka and she did not have the time to bake her own cake like how she did most of the time. And there was a bottle of Bottega Gold sparkling Prosecco and some normal sparkling juice.
So here are the pictures that I have compiled. Hope you enjoy and tell me what you think!
